The Social Investment Consultancy (TSIC) was started by three social entrepreneurs who wanted to create more effective partnerships between the for- and non-profit sectors. As our client list has grown, we have expanded in London and opened a new office in New York and Dubai. The value we have, and will always have, is in our ability to speak the languages of the sectors and people we work with, allowing them to most effectively scale and leverage the beneficial work they wish to do.

Our consultants have firsthand experience of working in-house for and consulting to an array of socially-minded organisations. Our blend of expertise from across the public, private and third sector forms the basis for a range of professional services designed to:

• Build flagship corporate philanthropy programmes;
• Assess the feasibility of socially-driven investments;
• Support philanthropists and family offices in their giving through educational workshops and insight trips;
• Identify programmatic gaps and opportunities through market mapping and benchmarking;
• Perform due diligence on and monitoring of charitable partners; and
• Provide external communications and branding advice to promote cross-sector partnerships.

As part of our own community engagement strategy, in 2008 we launched Future First, a social enterprise that improves careers guidance for pupils in UK state schools. Future First works in partnership with the Sutton Trust and has been recognised by both the Young Foundation and the Foundation for Social Enterprise. Today, Future First is independent, with its own management team and advisory board.
