The east London based community interest company, Bikeworks, which trains homeless people as bike engineers is now expanding and will soon be working across London. Recently named the best social enterprise in England, Bikeworks has just won a contract to set up shop in the west which should be up and running by early next year. The social enterprise gives homeless people new skills through three-month programmes, runs cycle training for residents and people with disabilities and generally promotes a more active life style.
