Following from our previous blog, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation have put words into action by donating £6.2 billion over the next ten years to develop and deliver new vaccines. Following the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Mr Gates said he hoped to see 90% of children in developing countries immunised. This would mean saving the lives of 7.6 million children under five in 9 years. This is an amazing contribution from Mr Gates and great news for those who need it the most.
