Coutts Launches The UK’s First Social Enterprise Advisory Service

Last week Coutts and Co spearheaded a UK first by launching the ‘Social Enterprise Advisory Service’. This service encourages the banks entrepreneurial clients to ‘give something back’ by developing enterprises that use their individual skill sets to benefit others, whether it may be through mentoring opportunities and advisory roles or through making grants and donations. A panel of experts including the School for Social Entrepreneurs, ClearlySo and UnLtd works within this advisory service to help clients find the right opportunity within the social enterprise landscape. The service is thought to appeal to the entrepreneurial character of many of the Coutts and Co clients, who typically like to get very involved with the causes they support. The advisory service will additionally host a series of educational days for clients. This will give them the opportunity to meet potential social enterprises requiring investment funding.
