How Helping Women Helps Business- McKinsey Quarterly

The strategy consulting firm, Mckinsey & Company, has just published an article entitled “How Helping Women Helps Business” in the January edition of its McKinsey Quaterly magazine. Given our work with UNIFEM-UK we thought that our readers would be interested in taking a look at the article.

Something to watch out for: the article highlights the fantastic work that Standard Chartered Bank (one of our clients) is doing with its women empowerment programme, GOAL.

  1. Jeff Mowatt says:

As can be seen from the work in Russia described on our website, this was very much the case in our leverage of a community back for the Tomsk initiative, where more than 80% of the 10,000 micro enterprises created were started by women.

This was proof of concept for the profit-for-purpose apporach to social enterprise we conceived in 1996.
