The Social Investment Consultancy helps businesses to design and implement smart, effective, and relevant partnerships and community strategies. We work to answer two main questions:
- What is it that unites everything the company does in terms of community engagement/philanthropy?
- How does the company make sure that its partnerships are most valuable for both the organisation and for the community at large?
A company’s activities may be united under a single cause, a single partner or a definite approach to partnership, but they should always be united. To draw maximum value, every staff member, customer and client should be able to articulate these unifying themes. All TSIC-supported partnerships look to protect against risk, have maximum social impact and bring benefit to the business in terms of stakeholder engagement and brand alignment.
We offer the following services to businesses:
Cause Identification. We believe that choosing the right cause is key to maximising corporate giving impact. We work with our business clients to research and select the causes that best reflect their core strategies, corporate culture, and have the greatest potential for meaningful change.
Giving Strategy Development. Having selected the right cause, we help companies create clear giving targets, partnership strategies and impact assessment methodologies. We also work with PR and communications departments to determine how to best relay results to stakeholders.
NGO Partnership Management. We help companies better interact with social sector partners. We can also help identify and vet potential non-profit partners on behalf of our business clients. We then assist our clients with partnership planning- including budgeting, role and responsibility determination, project timing, monitoring, and results communication.
Capacity and Support. Many businesses, regardless of capacity or size, often need extra help supporting their development and programmatic efforts. From partner identification to third-party representation, we offer our clients the requisite additional staff to achieve specific targets.
