The shortlist for the Business Charity Awards has just been announced. The nominees include well-known, large corporations covering a variety of sectors such as First Direct, Hovis, The Co-operative Group and Sky, as well as famous individuals like Duncan Bannatyne of Dragon’s Den. The awards, a joint venture between Third Sector and the Institute of Fundraising, recognise the contribution made to charity work and the voluntary sector by the UK business community and promotes CSR and good-practice.
