The Institute of Fundraising and the NCVO are encouraging more professional fundraisers to become charity trustees. Lindsay Boswell said that members of the Fundraising Institute felt that trustees had unachievable expectations and did not understand the difficulties of fundraising. The chief executive therefore urged members of the Institute to find trustee positions through the NCVO.
