The Social Investment Consultancy launches new Charities Intrapreneurship Programme

In an increasingly uncertain funding landscape, there is mounting pressure for charities to develop new and innovative sustainable income-generating streams and approaches to social impact; however often charities are unable to access external support and expertise to design and develop new models and strategies.

The Social Investment Consultancy believes that more charities should have access to the services that we provide, to enable organisations and the wider sector to rethink and evolve their approaches to delivering social impact. 2018 marks 10 years since we first began as a consultancy. In that time, we’ve supported dozens of not-for-profits and charities to design innovative new sustainable income streams and approaches to achieving wider social impact through our Charities Unlocked methodology. Many of these organisations were only able to access our support through funds such as Big Potential, and we know that there are many more charities who could benefit from consultancy support, but aren’t able to fund a bespoke consultancy project.

We have developed the Charities Intrapreneurship Programme to allow more organisations this opportunity, through a facilitated consultancy model that trains your organisation in our methodologies and best practices, supporting you to develop your own business models and strategies, and training participants to become organisational intrapreneurs.

The Charities Intrapreneurship Programme consists of six 3-hour trainings run over the course of 5 months from March until July 2018. Participants will be trained and supported to develop organisational asset audits, market research insights, income diversifications solutions and implementation strategies, and will have access to our network of other innovative charities, social enterprises, purpose-led businesses and social investors to share and learn from.

The Charities Intrapreneurship Programme is open to individuals at all levels, both those working within fundraising and business development, and those interested in intrapreneurship and innovative approaches to income generation and impact.
