The Social Investment Consultancy works with Philanthropists as well as Corporate and Private Foundations to develop a vision of what they want to change in the world and to identify ways of delivering that goal. We provide bespoke consulting services to our clients to help them realise their philanthropic vision, which could include:
	Values Articulation: We help clients explore their personal and professional history and current philanthropic interests. TSIC will provide insight into where these may overlap with local, national or international needs. TSIC will provide insight into financing options for social enterprise, social business and various charitable funding mechanisms.
	Issues Exploration and Education: TSIC can develop short briefings and expert workshops on identified areas of interest. TSIC will research and profile different types of partner organisations and engagement models that fall under the client’s interest, from financing charitable programmes to investing in social businesses.
	Insight Trips: TSIC facilitates Insight Trips to visit charities/social enterprises in the field and also meet with business, political and academic leaders who can give further context. TSIC trips to the Middle East, Africa, India and the UK have been described as ‘life-changing’ by attendees.
	Due Diligence and Selection: TSIC can research and develop briefing notes on up to ten potential partners. Our clients narrow this down to 2-4 organisations who are invited to participate in a tender and interview process. TSIC will work with the client and partner to agree the terms and nature of the eventual partnership.
	Monitoring and Evaluation: TSIC provides on-going, monthly support to clients to help with the monitoring and oversight of supported projects. At the end of the engagement, TSIC can help review successes and failures and provide recommendations on and access to innovative opportunities as they develop.
