The Social Investment Consultancy (TSIC) is a global organisation with a network of experts committed to creating social change. True social investment happens when diverse groups are brought together, are heard and valued equally.
True social investment happens when diverse groups are brought together, are heard and are valued equally. Diversity is a mindset, a holistic and non-linear approach that embraces differences, a way of seeking out solutions for transformation. We believe in diversity in its truest sense – the inclusion of management tiers, of the marginalised, of different age groups and beliefs; and this will change the systems that perpetuate the social inequalities that we see around the world.
TSIC prides itself on the breadth and depth of our team’s frontline experience in social change. Since our foundation in 2008, we have been driven by a deep sense of integrity and passion.
As testament to our dedication to social change as a company, we have incubated two organisations – Future First and Future First Global– attempting to leveraging alumni networks to improve social mobility within education.
We believe in delivering local-minded solutions. Through our Franchise Model, we support the growth of local entrepreneurs who want to influence purpose driven change in their markets.
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
TSIC is proud of our diverse workforce and we continuously strive to be an inclusive workplace where everyone, regardless of their identities, can thrive. We are also committed to advancing equity – the promotion of justice and equality of opportunity and outcomes – in the wider society.
Our team at TSIC provide lived experiences, professional and academic expertise and the ability to push forward equitable social change across organisations of varying sizes and interests, and across the system.
Internally, we are actively looking for ways to diversify our team, which does well in terms of gender, race, age and religion, but not on disability, sexuality and socioeconomic backgrounds. We are in the process of putting together an Advisory Board which will hold our internal efforts to account.
Externally, we are actively embedding diversity, equity and inclusion across our service offerings to client, especially impact evaluation and impact investing advisory. We also dedicate our pro-bono time to support sector-wide initiatives advancing equity, including Diversity Forum for Inclusive Social Investment, Shift the Power UK Funders Group, Data Sub Group to monitor Covid-19 funding, etc.
This quarter, we are focused on impact evaluation – how to diversify the field of researchers and evaluators, and how to decolonise evidence.
In 2015, TSIC UK became one of the 62 founding B Corps in the UK, certified by the nonprofit B Lab to meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. Today, there are more than 1,400 Certified B Corps from 42 countries and over 120 industries working together toward 1 unifying goal: to redefine success in business. We are proud to be part of this global community. As part of our social responsibility, we dedicate 5% of our profits to social change projects and 3% of our staff time to pro-bono work. In addition, we believe in charging a fair price to our non-profit clients and reinvesting surplus profit back into supporting our social mission, and ensuring equitable access to our services.
TSIC is also a member of AVPN, a unique funders’ network based in Singapore committed to building a vibrant and high impact social investment community across Asia. AVPN’s mission is to catalyse the movement toward a more strategic, collaborative and outcome focused approach to philanthropy and social investing, ensuring that resources are deployed as effectively as possible to address key social challenges facing Asia today and in the future.
Throughout the year, we also offer paid positions which will be advertised on this page.
There is no job vacancy at the moment.
It is the policy of The Social Investment Consultancy not to discriminate against any applicant on the basis of age, race, ethnicity, religion, gender or disability. All TSIC personnel – including, but not limited to, those who are responsible for hiring and promoting employees and for the development and implementation of programmes or activities – are charged to support this policy. We actively value diversity and wouldn’t be the organisation we are without it.

Our vision for Franchises:
- To build a global network of leading philanthropy, corporate responsibility, and social change consultants and thought leaders, who take our work to different parts of the world and extend the reach of our impact.
- Having successfully launched partnerships in four countries, we are inviting applications from new franchise partners interested in launching their own social sector consultancies, to take our work to new markets.
