Tell us a bit about yourself

I am deeply passionate about collective social impact and amplifying marginalised voices. Born in Bangkok, Thailand, and raised in Ōtautahi, Aotearoa (Christchurch, New Zealand), my professional journey began as a chartered accountant. After years of climbing the corporate ladder, I experienced a pivotal moment that led me to realise I could use my business acumen to create and scale positive impact. Since then, my motto has been simple: “Help good people, as good people will do more good.”
This shift in perspective led me into the social and impact investment sector in the UK for nearly four years. With a unique blend of experience in finance and impact, I see myself as a bridge, connecting these two worlds to drive meaningful change. Upon returning to Christchurch, I am dedicated to amplifying collective impact through the global TSIC network. I work with purpose-driven organizations and funders to shift mindsets, build impact capacity, and embed impact into strategy and decision-making.
Bridging gaps and collaborating across sectors is essential to addressing the challenges ahead. I am genuinely excited about the opportunities these challenges present and look

Why did you choose to work with TSIC?

“Finding your tribe can have transformative effects on your sense of identity and purpose. This is because of three powerful tribal dynamics: validation, inspiration, and what we can refer to as the alchemy of synergy.” – Sir Ken Robinson

This quote comes from the blog of my good friend and mentor. In my experience, there is limited understanding of social impact and social entrepreneurship. Trying to change the world by yourself requires a lot of courage, self-validation, and inspiration, which can sometimes be challenging and extremely lonely. The opportunity to work in the social investment sector in the UK for the past few years really taught me the power of collective impact and connections and the difference it can make to our society and environment, the alchemy of synergy.

I’m excited to be part of TSIC for three key reasons:

  • Value alignment: TSIC’s values of driving positive systemic change, transparency and honesty, warmth, and prioritising impact over profit resonate with my ethics and values on empathy, collective success, strengthening communities, and amplifying marginalised voices.
  • Valuing differences: We all bring unique perspectives, skills, and life experiences. I see these as our superpowers under the alchemy of synergy, and I’m excited to learn from the team’s wisdom, inspiration, and expertise.
  • Value amplification: Our commitment to collective impact, collaboration and systemic change will create a significant positive impact globally while the local communities and voices are heard.

I believe I’ve found my tribe, those who share my values, mission, and connections. I look forward to collaborating with the team, sharing my expertise, and supporting the network to serve our people, communities, and clients, ultimately amplifying positive impact.

What are you most looking forward to?

I look forward to continuing the conversations and raising awareness about social impact and impact management for a more inclusive and equitable society. More importantly, it is about collective success, collaborating and supporting great colleagues, changemakers and funders to build impact capacity and amplify positive impact and community voices.
