Mission

We are a global network of consultants committed to:

  • enabling our clients to better understand their impact, to innovate and scale;
  • influencing systemic social change to ensure that diverse groups are brought together, are heard and are valued equally.

Values

TSIC prides itself on the breadth and depth of our team’s frontline experience in social change. Since our foundation in 2008, we have been driven by a deep sense of integrity and passion.

As testament to our dedication to social change as a company, we have incubated two organisations – Future First and Future First Global– attempting to leveraging alumni networks to improve social mobility within education.

We believe in delivering local-minded solutions. Through our Franchise Model, we support the growth of local entrepreneurs who want to influence purpose driven change in their markets.

Thought-provoking and challenging

Whilst we are client-focused we maintain an independent perspective, prompting questions that challenge conventional thinking. We want to be a breath of fresh air for our clients. Often ahead of the curve we pursue system-changing solutions.

Honesty and humility

We are authentic and live our truth, acting with integrity. We are not afraid to speak truth to power but we are also not afraid to admit our own mistakes and learn.

Impact over profit

We believe that profits go hand in hand with impact, but if we have to choose, we will always prioritise impact over profits. Informed by our team’s deep commitment to and experience in social change, we always want to do the right thing.

Warmth

We build long-lasting relationships with our clients and collaborators based on being kind, positive, supportive and having shared visions and values.

Certified B Corporations are businesses that meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability to balance profit and purpose. B Corps are accelerating a global culture shift to redefine success in business and build a more inclusive and sustainable economy.

In 2015, TSIC became one of the 62 founding B Corps in the UK, committed to using businesses as a force for good. We commit 5% of our profits to charities and 3% of our staff time to pro-bono work.

Words from our clients…

The work TSIC did was invaluable. It gave Mada an independent profitability analysis as well as areas of focus. It provided the foundation upon which an informed decision could be made. Our experience with TSIC was very positive as I believe the work TSIC undertook was of high-quality and met Mada’s expectations. I will certainly recommend TSIC to others.

There are few organisations that have such a deep understanding of social impact measurement. Through our Good Kitchen programme, Bonnie and her team engagingly and meticulously guided five social businesses through how to measure the difference they were making and why it was important. With a heap of relevant case studies, well-prepared workshops and follow-on activities, it’s fair to say that it fundamentally changed how we thought about and conducted social impact measurement.

Through taking part in The Charities Intrapreneurship Programme, we have gained confidence around generating and putting forward ideas, an understanding of the wider market place, and an understanding of how to go about feasibility studies and client research. We also gained lots of great feedback and ideas.

The Social Investment Consultancy are exactly who they say they are; experts in diversity, equity and inclusion, research and evaluation and social innovation. They were so hard to find when I began looking for a consultant to assess our digital tool through a racial equity lens. As you can imagine it is a very niche market in the UK but The Social Investment Consultancy came through, put forward a proposal for the job and from there we could tell they were seasoned professionals. Bonnie, Yu-Shan and Lucia were such a joy to work with, they listened attentively to our concerns, took our suggestions on board and produced one of the most beautiful pieces of work I have ever seen. The most astonishing skill they possess is the ability to make such high-level theoretical themes so easily digestible to the general public. They are an absolute joy to work with and I am so happy to have worked with them.
