What is social investment?

B Corps are accelerating a global culture shift to redefine success in business and build a more inclusive and sustainable economy.
In 2015, TSIC became one of the 62 founding B Corps in the UK, committed to using businesses as a force for good. We commit 5% of our profits to charities and 3% of our staff time to pro-bono work.
TSIC is also a member of funders’ networks, AVPN and LatImpacto, and a registered consultancy with Nonprofit Builder, joining a global network that empowers nonprofits, foundations, and social enterprises in their pursuit of climate action and social change.

Collaboration
A collective for impact at scale
Since 2008, TSIC has been working across the globe to align capital, policy, and practice in service of communities. But as our work evolved, we saw a need for something more and deeper. To be proximate and rooted in communities and places.
So, we brought in two longstanding, respected UK-based consultancies, to form a first-of-its-kind Impact Collective.
A collective structure also means that we are benefiting from shared resources and financial resilience, while not losing the agility of our focused missions. We are proving that collaboration – not competition – is fundamental to systemic change.
TSIP (The Social Innovation Partnership), founded in 2008, has spent over 15 years working directly with communities, funders, and institutions to co-design solutions for social change. With deep expertise in participatory approaches, systems thinking, and policy innovation, TSIP helps ensure that those most affected by social issues are at the heart of designing how we solve them.
Renaisi, established in 1998, adds another vital layer. With over 25 years of experience in place-based change, it brings long-standing relationships across local government and frontline services. Renaisi’s work is rooted in local realities—centred on empowering communities and transforming how services respond to real needs.
By coming together under one roof, we’ve built something more resilient and more ambitious:

• Shifting power and resources – making equity and lived experience core to how decisions are made
• Creating lasting change – using shared infrastructure, global insight, and local depth to drive what’s next for the sector
This is our collective step forward. This is a new model for how social impact organisations can collaborate for greater reach, relevance, and results.
