Tell us a bit about yourself
I am currently a third-year student majoring in International Business Law at Rikkyo University in Tokyo, Japan. My interest in social impact and sustainability has grown through my studies, where I have been exposed to policy-making efforts that seek to balance community welfare with corporate profitability.
What interests you about the social impact sector?
I am drawn to the social impact sector because of its potential to generate meaningful and lasting change that positively affects communities around the world. I am an avid believer that businesses and organizations play a vital role in driving such change and are able to do so by integrating social and environmental goals into their strategies.
What are you most looking forward to in your internship?
I am particularly passionate in learning more about the frameworks and methodologies used to measure social impact within businesses. The opportunity to collaborate with a diverse group of people from various backgrounds is another aspect of this internship that greatly excites me.
