Call for Proposals: Research into Equality and Diversity among Social Investors in the UK

The Social Investment Consultancy (TSIC) has received funding from the Connect Fund on a multi-pronged project titled “Improving social investor diversity”. One of the workstreams in this project is research, and we are looking to appoint suitable consultant(s) to independent original research into Equality and Diversity among Social Investors.

Following two pieces of earlier research, including Big Society Capital’s survey and TSIC’s in-house research report, there are two pinch points in equality and diversity in our sector: for women, at the transition from management to decision making roles, and for ethnic minorities, the step from the back office to management and the investment functions of their organisations. This piece of research will help understand the problem around equality and diversity among social investors.

We are looking for a researcher or team of researchers to apply, and please see the Call for Proposals here for more information: TSIC – Requests for Proposals Research The budget is £14k including VAT,  and to take place over 2-3 months.

If you are interested, please send a proposal to [email protected] by 22nd February.
