Claudia Useche

Senior Researcher

Claudia has 12 years of experience working as a consultant in international development, across monitoring, evaluation and learning, research and programme design. Originally from Colombia, she has worked across Latin America for various organisations, including the Colombian government, British Council, Open Society Foundations, the Pan-American Development Foundation (PADF), and Comitato Internazionale per lo Sviluppo dei Popoli (CISP). Claudia has supported clients with research and analysis on human rights, cultural heritage, education, and public policy and communicated findings to national and international stakeholders. 

Claudia has her academic training in Anthropology and has strong expertise in qualitative research. With her experience working in the frontlines with vulnerable communities and minorities, she is passionate about inclusive research methods that centre communities’ voices. Before becoming a consultant, Claudia did voluntary work for six months with the London Zoo in Namibia. Since 2020, she has been based in Nottingham, UK, and she also spent a few years living in London.
