Richard is the director and founder of Social et al. Limited, a boutique consulting firm specialised in social innovation. Before starting his own venture, Richard was the Deputy Head of HKCSS-HSBC Social Enterprise Business Centre (SEBC), a resource centre under the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS) to advance social entrepreneurship and mobilize social innovation. Prior to joining HKCSS, Richard worked in WebOrganic as Senior Manager of Marketing specialising in digital inclusion; Microsoft Hong Kong as Community Affairs Program Specialist.

Richard is an MBA graduate of The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and an alumnus of London Business School. He received his Bachelor degree in Communication and Media Management, and was being awarded the University Medal from the University of South Australia.
